    Rio Tinto tells China to brace for Q1 ore hike-sources

    Leading iron ore producer Rio Tinto has notified Chinese steel mills that it will raise prices by 7.6 percent in the first quarter of 2011, two sources told Reuters on Friday.

    The company sets prices for each quarter based on an average of prices in the preceding three months.
