Big volume day. In fact biggest volume day since late 2010!

Interesting to see 3 big broker crossings go through totalling about 1.6m shares. One would assume that this is from one buyer meaning they dropped about $2.1m.
For every buyer there is a seller so obviously this news isn't totally positive but I certainly don't see it as a negative.
We know EQX market quite heavily to insto's so my guess is there is an insto (either new or existing) who wanted more so they knocked on a few doors and found a seller.
Either way you cut it someone has forked out a lot of money to get into EQX today.
It is my expectation that post scoping study and JORC things will really heat up for EQX. AKI were taken out not long after they put some firm numbers out to the market. I can't help but think EQX will follow a similar path in the near future. With Iron Ore currently at $146 there must be a few big boys looking to increase their Iron Ore exposure and for me EQX is a standout especially given it's tiny enterprise value which is less than $100m.
2013 is shaping up to be a great year for EQX.
