Lets not forget that it was our chairman who brought the chinese to the table not the africians, our chairman who instigated and signed the MOU with the chinese companies not the africians.
This seems to me, that our chairman has one card to play that his contacts with some chinese players.
If the africians were all fired up to have the chinese in then they would be bending over backwards to sign whatever the chinese wanted signed to get the deal over the line.
This is most definately not the case.
Therefore the conclusion to be drawn is the africians are not as keen to have the chinese operating in their country as their diplomatic talk would have everyone believe.
