IOH holders should get some news soon regarding the barge port development, in fact we should see a firm agreement come out of the current port MOU soon.
The previous announcement on this stated that if the WA Libs maintained their govt, that the MOU would likely be converted into some kind of binding deal (I'm paraphrasing). I believe they hope to close the deal by late March providing the Libs were re-elected.
So... Now that Big Col has been voted back in with a whopping majority I'm hoping that Alwyn was waiting outside parliament house on Monday looking to get in there and convert this MOU to something more formal. Hopefully this will also provide a bit more transparency so we can begin to see some detail around the project & how it might work.
