The Greenlandic weekly newspaper 'Sermitsiaq' today brings a lengthy article on Ironbark's prospect of a 'super mine' in the Citronen Fjord area. Several politicians express the view that the Ironbark mine will be a major input into the economy of Greenland. 300-400 workers will be needed there. The prospect will be discussed in society until December 1, thereafter the decision will be in the hands of the Government of Greenland. An issuance of a mining license is to be expected during spring 2016. The essence of the article is that the Citronen project is of vital interest to Greenland, which is confirmed by the chairman of the Greenland Industries. One also gets the strong impression that the Government of Greenland will facilitate in any way possible the establishment of the Ironbark mine in Northern Greenland.
