NM is playing a valiant game with a weak hand. He will have to accept what he is offered. Even a pound for our 204 mill SOLG shares is AUD 385mill or AUD 0.55 cps for DGR before tax, assuming the Tribeca notes convert to shares at 0.20 which would be likely with DGR worth 0.55 less tax plus the value of the other subs.
I remain hopeful of a 0.30 plus DGR price by Dec 2020.
We should see some good growth in AJQ and exponential growth if SOLG shares realize AUD385m as DGR will be able to self fund AJQ and all the other subs.
I agree that the SOLG price is being manipulated on a free float of only around 20% of the capital.

Well I dont know Waiken.. Nick Mather was always going to have to take what BHP offers but only to some extent.... and I think the extent of that is cheap raises in the interim... but the mkt is no static thing. Like Rio could try for a cheap portion of this.... there is a game but it is not totally stacked against Mather..

If BHP really try and screw him he could start farming the exploration tenements into other entities... He could also return to capital mkts once copper heads north.. its just all capital management in the mean time..

Another discovery though, in a different price environment... different game..
