Hi all, I posted the below on another thread in which I hold shares but received no responses as yet. Accordingly, I thought that my friendly collegues at ctp may be able to assist :). My questions are as follows:
If during pre-open there are buy orders totalling 1000 shares at 0.25 and sell orders totalling 1000 shares at 0.20 (and nothing in beteen) then what is the open price (do the sells or the buys take priority, so is the price 0.25 or 0.20)?
Also during pre-open, if there are buy orders for 1000 shares at 0.25 and if I place at sell order for 1000 shares at 0.25, will someone placing a sell order after me at 0.24 effectively trump my sell (i.e. would they get the sell order executed and not me)? If they would get the sell executed and not me, then would the price of their sale be 0.024 or 0.025?
