re: news current affairs is a contrarian indicator it's a cultural pattern of behaviour that i have noticed increasingly over the past few years

a good example is all the animated and 'lord of the rings' type of feature films we have these days.

basically lightweight to the max.

gambling and dancing all over the MSM.

look at that 7 'news' show called 'sunrise'
vaudeville news with dancing weather presenters.
a classic.

all this societal froth is telling us that we are topping - and the multi decade bearmarket that started in 2000 will resume ...

WHEN we have societal gloom and doom everywhere - then that will be the bottom and time to buy !
But that won't be for decades imo.
