Mate, the market is made up of many different folk with many different reasons to buy and sell. You should well know this by now. Can speculate all you want as to who was buying/selling, but you'll never know. Buy at support, sell at resistance - a perfect example.
Plenty of people out there just like you who totally ignore charts and pay too much for a share...
