Hope you're right about the sellers being exhausted rsah. Yep looking like seaborne price might be finding a floor. I can't remember seeing futures prices a few months on, higher than the immediately coming months, before Certainly looking good outlook wise. As you say, little depreciation in futures pricing for quite a while.
And China govt recently announced an easing of capital holding requirements for China banks, i remember seeing...... with an expected result of increased money flowing to the housing/building construction sector which is good for steel and commodity demand.........and coking coal demand
I guess North Korean coking coal exports to China will be restarting in time but what about a huge build up of housing, infrastructure construction and modernization in North Korea waiting to start up in the not too distant future. Plenty of coking coal demand to be generated there
