    Hi Freewill,

"Your numbers on private health insurance and school fees assume that a everyone would drop out of both."

    ------------------------------------------
Your views and mine are from people we mix with, casual and permanent ones.

    So,

Sure, not everyone will drop out of health Insurance. But I was proving a point by using 100% scale. There will be a lot that will.

I know people who are struggling and this would effect them.

My daughter when to Primary Private school, now goes to Public High School as I thought it was Superior in infrastructure/equipment than Private one we looked at.

Obviously schools will vary from place to place whether public or private.

I and my daughter are very happy with public school and teachers as we were with the private.
Good teachers are important, and we have had our fare share.
Maybe a lot of credit goes to my daughter's attitude.

I know people who are not millionaires like your friend who are struggling and sacrifice to send their child to Private School.

It's quite simple, if there was no private schools/hospitals than you the tax payer would have to pay for the full cost of replacing them with public ones to meet demand. Surely you can understand that?

This is turning in to a class war that Julia promotes, like mining tax. If we had no miners we would be in deep trouble.

    cheers,
