yeah sorry mate i just used your post as context, it's a slack thing to do i know.
But the point is the socially engineered through political dogma changes forced upon us all this last 15 odd years means first and foremost a lack of choice has become the fundamental discerning criteria for calling ones self an Australian.
The divide today between those with any choice and those with 'typical' is huge like those living only ever knew when they where a child.
To the very very vastest portion of society today/households to have a 100k let alone a 150k income (a dream that 95% of society will never ever see) would make them extremely happy in even the basic choices that would allow...life is nothing much without choice, we have very little of it left in Australia ATM...by the true statistics.
We lost 70% of what the choice majority had during the Howard years and the rest since....if we where not at rock bottom 5 years ago i would say we couldn't get much lower considering what we had the decade before.... but we can and will.
