"The Australian stock exchange was back up and running a day after suffering its worst outage in more than a decade, but glitches persisted throughout the session, raising the ire of the securities regulator.

After demanding a full incident report on Monday’s outage, the Australian Securities & Investments Commission late on Tuesday said it was actively assessing ASX Ltd’s compliance with its market licence obligations after the market operator failed to use bids and offers from rival Chi-X when its own dark liquidity matching system, Centre Point, failed."
