I was in this area in 1969, we built a big concrete holding dam just out of spargoville for WMC, stayed at the now derelict widgemooltha hotel, used to go specking down at larkinville where they found the golden eagle just down the road, found heap of old whiskey bottles this was before metal detectors.There was a house at spargoville that had a few vintage cars out the front one a red jaguar tried to check them out but no one seemed to live there. got into spargoville shares but sold too early..cheers
