Yes, the share price did reach $0.019 intraday 17-Feb-14. This would value the company just over $27m... Some may think that valuation was a little stretched at that moment in time, given where the trials were at that time - you can make up your own mind about that one.
Part of advancing to the second patient, is obtaining approval to continue - Who is to say that they hadn't already screened the 2nd patient and were just waiting for the green light? I think the way management moved us on from the unfortunate circumstances regarding the 1st patient is a credit to their care for shareholders.
IMO, the ONLY reason why we are at 0.8c (and there is less than 4m shares to 1c) is because some holders have become impatient and what to put their money into other stocks. My bet is that these holders still have PAA on their watchlist and will come rushing back into the stock on the back of positive results.
