The testing and design process of The Pearls is continuing on schedule with GomSpace and key milestones continue to be achieved per the project timeline.
The June quarter delivered the completion of a Critical Design Review (CDR) for the launch canisters to be used as the means of deployment during the upcoming Pearls launches. CDR testing assesses the overall design, durability and performance of the canisters and was undertaken by D-Orbit, an Italian space systems company. This represents a completed hurdle ahead of the upcoming launches and D-Orbit will shortly commence manufacturing the system components required for the launch.
