I ve held a lot of highly shorted stocks before and also currently hold as well so I know a thing or two about how shorters would work to get the share price down. I m currently a long holder in both flt and web and held webjet pre-covid with an average price 11.50. also Bellamy's was another highly shorted one. Also used to hold cgf which is highly shorted or atleast was when I held it. But I will say one thing though TWE short interest was quite low before this announcement and given short man website is two days late I ll be keeping a look out for short interest in the next few days to find out.
i ll be looking with interest but what I can also say is you can make a lot of money when shorters are covering. And when they start to cover, the share price will rocket. Takes a lot of nerves to hold a stock though where shorters have started to attack.
