Well, it is a catch 22 here.
Option 1: I hold the money I have now for the allocation, eg $15000. I get the full $15000 allocation at $1.78, I will be winning.
Option 2: I invest my $15000 in IAU shares now and not particpate in the SPP. Just benefit from the rising SP.
But option 1 will sux if I dont get the full allocation, i.e. only get $1000 allocation on 20th December. I will be losing out on the $14000 which I could have invested today!
Option 2 will sux if I do get full allocation of shares.
