Samwise,
I am beginning to really wonder if the ALDP is in fact still Active.
In reviewing the Fed Gov't cuts, I noted that the "Clean Technology Innovation Program" has been discontinued. What I am unsure of, is this the program that links with the State Govt. DPI - ALDP program? If so then :
This link states what the program is:
http://www.industry.gov.au/industry/cleanenergyfuture/Pages/CleanTechnologyProgram.aspx
The 3rd program "Clean Technology Innovation" is the one I assume that feeds/links into ALDP..
and then it refers you to Aus.Industry link>
http://www.ausindustry.gov.au/programs/CleanTechnology/Pages/default.aspx
This Ausindustry link explains how the 3 pronged program is "discontinued" and will not take any NEW applications? It goes on to state that "AusIndustry is contacting all applicants directly with advice on the status of their application."
This then leads on to talk about the Fed Govt's Direct Action Plan.
ECT then announced on the 22 Nov that it was making a submission to ERF.
http://www.ectltd.com.au/asx-announcements/shareholder-update-4/
So from all this I assume that the State Govt's ALDP may no longer be active as the Fed Gov't has cut off it's 50% of the fund IF this was made under the "Clean Tech. Innovation Program" !!
The grey area for me is, why hasn't Vic DPI announced that the ALDP is discontinued once the Feds cancelled the Clean Tech program? Maybe the feds will honour the ALDP program commitment and not take any new Applications for grants..
Lots of questions.... Why is DPI taking so long? If you join the dots from the Fed gov't announcements, one can deduce the the Vic ALDP program MAY in fact be inactive/cancelled and the DPI are now advising all applicants to submit to the Fed Govt. ERF scheme.
All IMO... I am still holding tight.. as I believe whatever grants there are available ECT is making all the right moves to secure funding.. whether it's ALDP or ERF, they are in the thick of it and that our new chairman was brought on board because of his financial advisory skills to ensure we secure such funds to further promote and develop our technology to Commercialisation stage..
As stated many times, this penny share is not for the faint hearted..
