I was running a servo back in the days when servos actually serviced cars in a time of inflation. We stocked all manner of bits 'n bobs that needed regular replacement and the reps would visit weekly and nearly monthly give you a new price list.

"Wadda ya complaining about that's the first in three months".
So my prices were rising regularly, it was insidious, there was no single reason for it. I came to the conclusion that nothing inflates like inflationary expectations. In Aus we have inflation, a sliding $, deindustrialisation simultaneously which should be cause to kick out our gov.
