MXG Multiplex JV wins $387m desalination contract
Sydney - Friday - April 15: (RWE Australian Business News) -
The Water Corporation of Western Australia has announced that the
Multiplex Degremont Joint Venture has been selected as the successful
tenderer for the $387 million Perth Seawater Desalination Project.
The Project comprises the design, construction and operation of
a 45 gigalitre per year desalination plant to be located in Kwinana,
25km south of Perth, Western Australia.
The project scope includes seawater intake, pretreatment,
reverse osmosis desalination, drinking water potabilisation and pumping
station.
Multiplex will be responsible jointly with Degremont for the
design and construction of the plant.
