It's not polite to discuss such things online, but let's just say if he chooses to come back into a publicly listed company despite knowing full well why he 'resigned' in the first place, then I guess he's happy for his performance to be judged publicly.
But if that happens then I and many others will just quietly sell and move on with our lives.
