The forestry assets will be sold off by end of calender year due to various stages of maturity of these forests.
Appointing the investment bank caliburton greenhill to sell futuris suggests to me that there is confidence of achieving a positive price. Remember these guys just negotiated the nrl tv deal and would only take this on if they felt they could achieve Elders expectations as there would be extra financial incentives for this bank to achieve these targets and also to protect their reputation for being top notch business negotiators.
In regard to your comments regarding NTA and book value, these are two different calculation. If Elders can achieve a price close to their book value, the NTA would skyrocket as the intangibles of these 2 businesses would have been realized.
