actually colin nicholson, who i am sure all chartists are aware of ,is not very enthusiatic re descending traingles.
if i may quote an old shares weekly article by him(23 to 29th nov,2002)his words are
"The distribution pattern is in the shape of a descending triangle, a particularly bearish pattern because it shows that the sellers were coming in and overcoming rallies at lower and lower prices during its development."
