Whether or not a truce settlement is in sight depends on whether or not Ukr will bow to Russky demands that Eastern Ukr to remain a part of Russia and Ukr will not join NATO. That is the minimum demand of the Russkies as recently as a week ago.
Zels has made it abundantly clear that Ukr will get all its territory back.
So logical conclusion? War will go on for the foreseeable future.
As for posters thinking Russkies are running out of this, that and the other - I will use the great phrase from one of the greatest ever movies made in this great country called the Land of Oz ("The Castle") - "tell 'im 'e's dreamin'"!!
