Why I find these posts disturbing is the idea that it is all over, that the Australian culture is so weak that it can not withstand a religion that is practiced by a few people ( 2.2% in the last census ).
That somehow the Australian culture that is so strong and dynamic is at peril from the 2.2 .
Or maybe, just maybe, Pickering needs to keep feeding the worry to keep the loyal ones donating.
Without a doubt Islamic terrorists and their supporters are a concern .
So how do we , the 97.8 , show them the Australian culture will endure ?
Do we just shut the gate and cower under the bed with the curtains drawn?
