The deal is a good one. Very few opportunities like this arise in the oil business where the price can be negotiated rather than getting into a hostile takeover where all too often the end price is too high. The deal is cashflow positive from day one and enables STO to increase production significantly over the next few years. Repaying debt becomes easier and there is the probability of higher dividends as production grows and debt is reduced. According to Morningstar , STO is conservatively valued at approx $7.80. Buyers, including myself , are in the market today to pick up stock from fearful sellers. I will be a long term holder .
