CSL cannot buy into Aegros due to ACCC and Aegros market is for emerging countries who cannot afford full scale, Aegros can do modular Haemafracs to cater for a smaller scale market, Aegros will fill a gap in the market and CSL will continue business as usual.
Also Aegros has the ability to use plasma that other fractionators might seem risky or tainted with disease to put it frank. Also Aegros plan on working on other plasma therapies after the CovidImmune trial as their cartridges they use for separation can be manufactured to gather other other live saving plasma products.
