No one has commented on how vague this latest Novo Nordisk announcement was :
. 'large clinical trial' ? How many is large ?
. 'didn't release detailed data' ! Handy
. 'independent data monitoring panel' Who ?
. ' lowered the risk by enough ...' How much is enough ?
. ' ...to meet pre-planned statistical criteria'. What was the criteria ?
Novo Nordisk has a market capitalisation of US$438 billion, over 6 times the size of CSL.
If they want to 'prove' that Ozempic 'slightly increase life expectancy' or
'tends to slow the onset of alzheimers', they can, and might even be in
the process of doing so.
