Relying on a commodity price lift can often leave you too disappointed particularly the case of base metals and where it is historically.
Any price for copper above $1.40lb is fantastic-currently over $1.70lb.
Will it go higher, maybe, but there is nothing out there to suggest it is going to $2.00lb in a big hurry.
Gold is looking very bored lately. All the positive ingredients are there but she just doesn't want to rise above $440 at the moment. (My guide is often the prevailing gold lease rates and they are flat). Maybe in a couple of months.
For the OX to outperform, I would be looking for more exploration results from Laos and Prominent Hill in the shorter term as well as solid production results. And maybe something moving in China-they have slowly done the leg work, now lets see some action!
Just my opinion. Everyone knows they are a great management team with great resources.
