I suspect good would phrase it differently. Amazon hasn't been selling some Google products for some time. This resulted more recently in Google deciding to stop supporting YouTube on certain Amazon platforms which I understand was to take effect for start 2018. Effectively trying to leverage the value of YouTube so Amazon would "play ball" for Google.
This more sounds like a tit-for-tat between the big boys. Not too sure tbh in any benefit for BIG from this albeit who knows.
