i picked up some more at 2.27.
saw "your money" last night and panelists were talking about what to expect from report.
None of them spoke about VI model.
discussion focussed on removing trailing commissions, greater disclosure, tougher penalties; greater regulatory oversight with enforcement of laws.
they also suggested that cost of advice and financial products and services may increase as FS providers attempt to recoup additional cost due to compliance and regulation.
in the end the banks always win...
