I agree all businesses are reflection of the way they are managed and the new CEO if he has the “right stuff” and metal then he could turn this thing around.

He has many adversities ahead of him with Class Actions and RC fall-outs and a shocking business reputation (it really is on the nose - both with clients and advisers). With the enormity of all this luggage be too much or can a path forward be forged. He will need to cut wide and deep and remove many of the “dead men walking” who have presided over the messes he will inherit, without this IMO he has no chance.

Big job for one man - he has to change everything from product, packaging, image/perception, and most importantly culture. It can’t and won’t look like the business we once knew if it is to survive - that one was redundant at least 5-10 years ago and it’s amazing it managed to continue to hobble along regardless.
