I had an issue with NAB some years ago all due to a new teller not knowing I was an old regular customer and giving me less than what i expected as desirable service. My bank manager wasnt prepared to address the situation nor was the business banking centre, so I decided to close my account and move it elsewhere.
I had 2 accounts and I asked for bank cheques. After they told me they were $7.00 each I didnt think it was necessary to give the bank any more money than i had over the years so asked for the money in cash, which they advised me against, but I was persistant.
Anyway i was told that I would have to wait for the cash as they needed to call n a truck, I had the afternoon off so didnt bother me. After 15 minutes of waiting they decided it would have been cheaper for them to give me the cheques free of charge.
