Is Albonomics working for anyone?

"Nero fiddles while Rome burns." There's never been a more appropriate phrase for the travel escapades of Anthony Albanese. Little wonder he's been dubbed'Airbus Albo'and our personal favorite,'Anthony Overseasy'. With 12 interest rate rises and the cost of just about everything else going through the roof under Labor, it beggars belief that this week in the Senate members of the government had the audacity and arrogance to claim their "downward pressure" on the cost of living was easing the burden on ordinary Australians who are "doing it tough". How much more out of touch could they get? To add sanctimonious insult to patronising injury, Treasurer Jim Charmless claims Australia's triple-A credit rating is an endorsement of Labor's economic plans. What he fails to mention of course is the news this week that Australian households' living standards have dropped further and harder than any other advanced economy in the last 12 months (CLICK HEREto read the story).
