looking at what management had inherited and the perceived lack of interest in getting pipeline going way before the recent events it points to too much of a good thing and insulation from the real world IMO. Could have got going well before and now the urgency. what confidence have I in their timelines - well none! they couldn't perform in the past so what has changed? maybe bit more desperate now to shore up their own positions?? who knows?.

they tried JV before with Hexima but that didn't work - were we provided with details of that - nope!

bonuses are calculated on internal KPI's - which by the way never included SP performance. Hmmm SP should be one of the key indicators in my book. So lets go for a sec with the prior year bonuses - what were they actually calculated on?? - can't see any real progression with the pipeline so how could they have been paid - maybe on Eli royalties which lets face it the agreement of which was part of RT legacy. so how have they paid themselves all these bonuses?.

now they are going to court to attempt to overturn a patent needed to get their pipeline to market quicker (now nothing wrong with this - but IMO just illustrates the lack of urgency shown by all in the good times notwithstanding umpteen gee ups from SHs - but SH's appear irrelevant in their decision making).

so in bio-tech given the legacy that was left and how it has played out (granted that some items came from left field BUT surely its not for one to rest on their laurels and for management to continue to maximise SH wealth?) and the lack of progression on a number of fronts then newB is on the money with his/her comments IMO.
