Haha I learned that on my first stock as well tbh - lost about $1000, luckily I was already semi savvy about choosing buy-in and sell points so I made some money on other stocks and came out ahead, now I am doing well enough that I don't have to worry about working for money and can just do this.
Good to hear you have other stocks doing well that can at least balance it out.
As long as you have learned the lesson, this was not a loss, but a chance to gain, and if you have gained, good. If you can see life more like that you'll find you will have an easier time handling what some people call tough, life.
Ego will heal, just don't let it get out of control haha, other than that hopefully you do well in your next trades and learn something regardless. Take some extra time next time just to make sure, and trade the swing otherwise be sure you know what you're investing in or trading etc.
