    Have to agree with that.

    Maybe it's the education system as well, people who are raised with low levels of self esteem, low levels of confidence, low education level (not in every case of course) cannot deal with unexpected situations and can only deal with it by uncontrollably lashing out without thinking through the consequences of their actions.

    How many times have I heard "but I can change them", NO you can't!

    I've heard no government ever refer to research about the category of those at highest risk of domestic violence fall into. You would think with a century of data what categories these individual fall into would become known, but maybe the results they have would identify what a miserable job successive governments have done with root cause analysis?

    At some point they will have to let the cat out of the bag about what prime characteristics define a DV individual.
