I feel for you. How long were you together if you
don’t mind me asking?
Did he ever discuss his earlier life with you?

It’s interesting being mid fifties, a lot of the people
I know socially have gone through, or are going
through, relationship breakdowns but fail to see
the part they have played in their own demise
and often repeat the same behaviour.
I despair at the amount of men that see nothing
wrong with wanting to be in total control.
