I was intending to buy a car soon....but since the Toyota fiasco with the car speeding out of control, then other car makers recalling hundreds of thousands of cars world wide for a variety of problems, including brakes not working, or engines catching on fire....
I am beginning to think, I should be looking for an older car, one that had none of these new computer related devices and associated problems.
anyone else just a bit cautious about what is happening in the car world
and could this wipe out Toyota for good....
they are not the only ones with problems....
but the thought that a car could speed out of control, and not slow down, or be able to control it... scares the daylights out of me...
mind you I am a bit of a speed freak at times...but its out on an open road, and it is with the knowledge, that I can brake for a corner, or slow down as required.
Caught doing 185 a few years back....just a bit of low flying on a boring trip, hardly any cars on the road, but obviously...a hidden camera
