Holden Statesman Caprice i believe. Why not buy a real classic, fully restored, fun to drive and can go up in value instead of down.
You after a family sedan? 4WD? sportscar?
Im not too concerned. The Ford territory and falcon brake issues arent great, and the Toyota Prius stuck accelerator is worrying but to a large degree seem focused in USA.
Buying a near new(2yo) car seems a valid suggestion. Avoids these recalls and fixes. Will also save a bundle of depreciation.
I generally buy new, but i dont buy an all new model. If i had a choice of an all new commodore or a new(or revised) falcon, i generally think about the possible teething problems.
