Thanks for your response. Your comments complement things I have learned this morning.
My fund manager mate, who specialises in stocks like REA and IRE was lukewarm. He sees this sector as mainly driven by client acquisition, and he doubts that XERO have a sustainable edge. He is also concerned about earning relative to the capital deployed.
My tech savy analyst (who put me onto the stock) thinks that the technology is very strong and they are well positioned to take advantage of problems their competitors are facting.
I will watch with interest and run my position.
