Here is the Investment advisor's portfolio advice on $376000 in interest only with Sunsuper. His fee is $3900 for fund set up research and advice taken from principal. Yearly management fee is $1640 taken from principal. Investment advice is as follows. 1. 12% fixed interest international. 2. 18%domestic fixed interest 3. 20% domestic cash. 4. 24% International Equities 5. 17% Domestic Equities 6 . 9% Domestic property / commercial/ This is a conservative portfolio strategy and advice which is designed to bring in 5.5%pa growth to bring in $22000 to $25000 pa to live on without decreasing principal of Sunsuper $376000 too much at pension age in 6 years time . If the figures come out at 5.5% pa then my wife can retire from work on May/ 1 / 2020 with $22000 pa and my pension of $18000pa on May/ 3 / 2020 whichwill give us a combined income of $40000 pa . We own our home and have $30000 in cash and a 2.9 % loan of $90000 over 15 years .. Let's hope the Investment adviser is worth his fee. Thanks also for those who have commented on this thread.
