It's all designed to get you into cable TV and pay.
Even the advertising time allowed by legislation is being ignored.
The legislation states that every hour must contain approximate 48 minutes of content, the rest can be adds, ie 12 minutes.
I say approximate because there are slight differences depending on the time of day
If you time a one hour program you will be lucky to see more than 35 minutes of program.
Why do they do it? because there is nothing to stop them doing it.
We have hundreds of thousands of bureaucrats, hundreds of politicians, various boards and bodies but they all do NOTHING
