I believe Equity Builder is actually separate to NABTrade, and Equity Builder trades are done over the phone - not even held in the NABTrade account.

Unless I'm missing something, like different margin lending offered by NABTrade.

They're sitting on like $5m+ cash, so there would need to be a really good reason for a raising... They'd need something lined up costing $10m+.

I have yet to explore further but the equity builder loan was the one I was looking at, initially I was hoping to use the "Leveraged" outfit for their similar type loan offering with it being linked to Selfwealth portfolio... however leveraged have a working relationship with openmarkets but not Selfwealth which is disappointing.

Out of interest, whats the poor aspects of Nabtrade that has provided its reputation?
