    Is anything happening ????

A very interesting question – to all who wonder, we must not forget that the last 2 or 3 geophysical surveys that have taken place have almost completely thrown a new line of thinking to the targets of mineralisation in this system. All along in recent time we were trying to clarify the situation with respect to an intrusive model emanating from a deep magmatic source, but we could not get an accurate picture of what was happening beyond 250 to 300m depth because of the limitations of the EM surveys. The picture changed with the results from the Magnetotelluric and the Audio-Magnetotelluric surveys.

Of-course we have all read the second last release, but I highlight the significant features from the release by SGQ.

1 April 2020 ST GEORGE ACHIEVES BREAKTHROUGH RESULTSTHAT SIGNIFICANTLY EXPAND NICKEL-COPPER SULPHIDE TARGETS AT MT ALEXANDER

Magnetotelluric (MT) and Audio-magnetotelluric (AMT)survey delivers breakthrough results:

 Very significant exploration potential is confirmedwith MT/AMT survey successfully mapping structures and conductive stratigraphyto a depth of more than 3,000m from surface

 These deep, mantle-tapping faults are textbookconduits for nickel-copper sulphides and typical of large nickel sulphidemineral systems

    • New conductive features have been identified atdepth within the Investigators, West End and Fairbridge Prospects in areas yetto be tested by drilling

    • Potential extensions of the highly mineralisedInvestigators ultramafic have been identified below the current extent ofdrilling

SGQ are currently reviewing the data obtained through 3D analysis with a view to more accurately pinpoint the real hot spots in the intrusive (Mafic/Ultramafic) bodies. If these hot spots are indeed economically mineralised, the value of this field becomes a very highly sought out region and that is what will have the real investors clambering to get a slice of the action, they will not come running for 100 or 150 K tones of Ni in the top 200m of dirt.

The geophysicists in the group know that even though the tell tail signs in the field point to reasonable confidence that the conductive features at depth will contain economic mineralisation, they are also aware that some features might be caused by other factors including ( as pointed out by a poster elsewhere ), pyrrhotite mineralisation as we saw with the 200,000 Siemen anomaly which was drilled at the East Laverton prospects. Or, structural features such as faults and so on which could be barren of economic minerals.

To elucidate which are the most likely features to target in the forthcoming drilling programme, will take some really serious reviewing of the data. I am confident that the 3D anomalies will throw up valid anomalies which can be differentiated from less likely targets. Particularly in the already well drilled central section in the Mt. Alexander Structure, as opposed to other less well-defined targets such as Fish Hook. Fish Hook may prove to be a humdinger prospect, but apart from being a very strong chemical anomaly at this stage it still is but an anomaly of lower rank in comparison to the anomalies thrown out by the MT surveys.

The deep drilling is certainly the way to go for the bigger targets and may also prove to be more economical approach, if directional drilling is applied from a Mother hole. More on this on another occasion.

The short answer to my opening statement is a definite resounding YES!!! In order to prepare the next drilling strategy.

Be careful all with the Covid 19 and continue to be patient.

    Cheers all,

    Helmenesh.
