The advisor suggested that retail is being deferred just like residential loans. Assumption is that they’ve been living on deferrals and govt payments till now and most will resume operations once restrictions lifted and recommence debt repayment, even if at lower levels.
I’m definitely not an expert so just relaying what has been explained to me. He also told me that as long as I don’t need the funds invested now, to just avoid looking at share price. He seemed to have confidence it will be significantly higher in 12-18 months but did say the next month will see a lot of softness while ppl hypothesise about the future. Who really knows without a crystal ball
