OUCHHH.!!! Acecant, that hurts. (For someone, definitely not me though.)
But the truth always hurts lol.
I was one of the one that got shot down in flames on countless occasions for daring to say that the shares issued in place of options were too extravagant and that there was no incentives for Management to make the sp improve to the levels that we could benefit as well.
I was also one on the ones that stated that Management should have proved their worth before getting more incentives, (if we could call them that), as incentives should only be awarded when other people (Investors that is) were to also share in the spoils. That didn't go down too well either though.
Like you, I am of the opinion that the shares are issued in the place of options because there will be no chance of them getting into the money and they are awarded so that they can be cashed in when the MAJOR SHAREHOLDER will make the move. You can DYOR on that.
