    I also think there could be a larger drop in the US market. I think it will be sooner rather than later, as in - the current trend to continue. I have taken somewhat of a bet each way, particularly with thematics and rapid-growth companies like APT, and have access to cash if this happens. I have also re-bought some stocks I sold in June, for tax purposes, at prices lower than I sold. 

    My concern locally is if the property market does continue to fall (which I think it will) and what the effect on the broader economy will be. If housing construction falls, what happens to the workers jobs and spending habits? 

    Alternately, what happens if wages rise/unemployment falls - inflation rises and interest rates must go up? Either way, the bank shareholders are screwed.
