IT'S perhaps not too far of a stretch to say that Peter Bond has probably seen and done it all - even at the relatively young age of 51.

Already one of Australia's richest people, he has his very own island on the Great Barrier Reef, zips around for work and leisure in a private jet and counts collecting aeroplanes (the real ones, not the model variety) as one of his many hobbies.

But as far as his career is concerned, the chief executive officer and managing director of Linc Energy is far from calling it a day.

Two months ago, Mr Bond oversaw the upstream oil-and-gas firm's move from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) to the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

Mr Bond: 'In my humble opinion, moving the company to the Singapore Exchange (last year) will be the most positive and profound action we've taken as a company since we originally listed in Australia in 2006...."
